You can be part of the COVID-19 Data and Innovation Center global launch that will take place on December 3, 2020 from 12:30 a 1:30 pm ET. 

Our Center is a multi-stakeholder platform from the Global South that produces data-based knowledge for COVID-19 socioeconomic recovery. 

The Centre gives academia, civil society organizations and other stakeholders a voice in the response to the unprecedented challenges presented by the pandemic. Heeding the urgent call, and ideated in full cooperation with the United Nations COVID-19 Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF), Tableau and almost 20 partners, like ITC-ILO Training Centre, Mapbox, SDSN TReNDS, Esri, Universidad ICESI, Decidim, the Centre will deliver evidence, knowledge, innovation strategies, and policy recommendations to the United Nations COVID-19 MPTF in their purpose of strengthening response and recovery actions in the Global South.

We would love it if you can be part of this great event. The Keynote speech will be provided by Mr. Adam Selipsky, President and CEO, Tableau, who will be talking about the future in the midst of a pandemic. 

We also have convened a panel discussion with several of our partners: High-level world leaders committed to comply with the 2030 Agenda. Mrs. Anita Bhatia, Deputy Executive Director, UN Women, and Mrs. Lydie Hakizimana, CEO, African Institute for Mathematical Science. The panel will be moderated by Sheila Warren, Member of the Executive Committee, World Economic Forum.

Closing remarks will be provided by Mme. Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group.
