In the context of the eighth UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), Cepei and civil society organizations hosted a webinar to address the main activities, topics, and insights of the 2022 Forum.

During the event "Modernizing communication capacities in National Statistical Offices", Cepei and PARIS21 discussed with regional experts to share best practices, lessons learned and keys to building impactful data stories.

PARIS21 and Cepei, together with the NSOs of the region, held the first meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean regional network for data-driven communications, which seeks to bring data and statistics closer to decision-makers.

Philipp Schönrock participated in the webinar "Measuring SDGs during the pandemic", as part of INEC Ecuador's Statistical Day 2021. He discussed the challenges to achieve the 2030 Agenda and the impact of the pandemic on the SDGs.

Cepei’s Director, Philipp Schönrock, was part of the webinar 'UN Analytics Roundtable: Building a data culture', organized by Tableau. He shared the work Cepei has done around the UN Regional Reform and Tableau's support to communicate data in real time.

Cepei and the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) of Colombia, with the support of Tableau, organized a breakfast meeting, parallel to the UN World Data Forum, in which they shared experiences and perspectives of the Road to Bern initiative in Latin America and the Caribbean.
