Companies are now focusing their efforts on actions to help mitigate environmental, economic, and social crises through public-private data partnerships to achieve a sustainable world. Cepei and LIRNEasia – funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) – together with other research centers in the global south, created the SDG Acceleration Roadmap.
This initiative mapped 394 company data actions in Africa, Latin America, Asia, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and North Africa (MENA) to understand their contribution to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Based on its experience, Cepei shares the main points to consider when developing a data partnership to benefit sustainable development.
