Insights for the HLPF 2022: UN Resident Coordinator Office in Jamaica

July 8, 2022

As every year since 2016, Cepei has been monitoring and analyzing the voluntary national reports (VNRs) submitted by Latin American and Caribbean countries to the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on their progress toward the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This year, as part of its follow-up and analysis, Cepei conducted a multi-stakeholder campaign with representatives of the United Nations, civil society, and experts from the Cepei team on the VNRs elaboration process, as well as the challenges faced by the region in meeting sustainable development.

Jamaica’s UN Resident Coordinator, Garry Conille, shares how did the UN RC Office support the 2022 country’s voluntary national review.
