As every year since 2016, Cepei has been monitoring and analyzing the voluntary national reports (VNRs) submitted by Latin American and Caribbean countries to the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on their progress toward the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This year, as part of its follow-up and analysis, Cepei conducted a multi-stakeholder campaign with representatives of the United Nations, civil society, and experts from the Cepei team on the VNRs elaboration process, as well as the challenges faced by the region in meeting sustainable development.
Natalia Patiño, Senior Researcher for Global Agendas at Cepei, shares why the UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development is critical to delivering on the 2030 Agenda.
