Emmanuel Botchway is a Management Consultant and a Civil Registration expert with over 22 years of experience in Mortality Statistics, Business Process Mapping, Forensic document verification, and Data Management. Prior to his current role as the head of ICT and verifications at the Births and Deaths Registry-Ghana, Emmanuel had worked with several multinational companies and has broad experience in forensic Documents Examination, Assets Valuations, and Management, Project Management, and Data Management.
Emmanuel had coordinated several intervention Programmes aimed at improving mortality data with WHO, Swiss TPH, Vital Strategies, World Bank, University of Melbourne, Ghana Statistical Service, and Ghana Health Service. Business Process Modelling of the Civil and Vital Registration Systems in Ghana.
Emmanuel is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Consultants-USA, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants-Ghana, a Chartered Professional Administrator, a Board Member of OSIA-France, and other statutory Boards and Committees in Ghana.
Emmanuel is a Gold recipient of the Head of States Award Scheme (The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in Ghana). He is an alumna of the National Institute of Business Management, India, Venkateshwara Open University India, and the University of Education-Winneba.
