Between September 13 and 27, the 77th United Nations General Assembly will hold its sessions. The first day of the general debate will take place on September 20. 

Hungarian diplomat, Csaba Körösi, was elected president of UNGA 77. The central theme of the sessions, proposed by the president, is “A watershed moment: transformative solutions to interlocking challenges”. This is a critical moment in UN history due to the COVID-19 pandemic recovery, the war in Ukraine, and the climate change crisis.
