He is the current Deputy Director General of the National Institute of Statistics and Census of Ecuador. He has a master’s degree in economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and an engineering in economic sciences from the National Polytechnic School of Ecuador.

With more than 6 years of experience in the management of the National Statistical Office of Ecuador, responsible for the implementation of a management model for scientific research, promoting strategic alliances with central government institutions, universities, bilateral and multilateral organizations for the Development of research projects.
