She is an associate professor in the Department of Economics and Research of the Research Group in Economics, Management and Health, ECGESA, of the Universidad Javeriana de Cali. She is Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Barcelona and economist from the Javeriana University. Her main areas of interest in research are the socio-economic determinants of well-being in childhood and the role of the context in which children live, the analysis and construction of well-being indicators and the economic analysis of social policies.
