Between September 18 and October 5 the world turned its attention to New York. Governors and global leaders met in the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly to advance in the achievement of solutions to current global problems.

The United Nations General Assembly is one of the six deliberative, normative and representative bodies of the United Nations. The 193 Member States are represented in this forum to discuss and work together on a wide range of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations, such as development, peace and security, international law, etc.
