Eight pioneer countries in three regions: Bangladesh, Colombia, Ghana, Mongolia, Nepal, Paraguay, Senegal and Rwanda. In the case of Colombia, the prioritized themes are education and poverty. For Paraguay, the themes of land use, and human mobility have been prioritized.

We promote and coordinate training spaces that respond to the needs and priorities of each country through workshops, missions and technical tables.

Training workshop: “capacity building on geographic analysis for poverty measurement”
In the framework of the Data for Now initiative, from May 19 to 29, Cepei offered a workshop to o the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) of Colombia, with the aim of supporting geographic analysis capacities to measure poverty.

We connect global, regional and national initiatives with the production of timely, inclusive and real-time data and statistics through the creation of strategic partnerships.

P2P exchange on Water Information Systems: Mexico – Paraguay
On May 22, in the framework of the Data 4 Now initiative, Cepei organized this peer-to-peer exchange on Water Information Systems.

View AllAs part of the activities of the Data for Now initiative that Cepei carries out, between May 28 and 29, we organized this workshop that sought to explore the governance and architecture of the Paraguayan Water Information System, focusing on the measurement of SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), as well as the management of natural disasters.
