Consultation workshop on the implementation of Integrated Water Resources Management
On May 28, the Bimodal Consultation Workshop (face-to-face and virtual) was held on the implementation of Integrated Management of Water Resources, IWRM: Indicator 6.5.1. In Nicaragua. The Workshop was developed with the objective of promoting the participation of the different sectors and actors related to Water Management in the Country, in the Evaluation of the level of implementation of the Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) -ODS 6.5.1.
Nicaragua participates in World Health Assembly
Nicaragua participates in the World Health Assembly that is being held for the first time virtually and is convened from Geneva. In said assembly the ministers of health speak from all the countries of the world, and for Nicaragua Dr. Martha Reyes is participating, Minister of Health, Dr. Paul Oquist Kelley, Minister-Private Secretary for Policy Nationals of the Presidency of the Republic.
Regulatory framework for the environment and human rights
The implementation of the SDGs requires the participation of all stakeholders. The State, as the main responsible agent for fulfilling the commitments of the 2030 Agenda, must promote this participation through normative, political, economic and social incentives that create multi-stakeholder enabling environments.
