UEL is chosen 2nd best sustainable development University in Brazil
UEL was named the second best Brazilian institution in THE Impact Ranking, on Tuesday, April 21. The ranking evaluated 766 Universities worldwide on the work developed to fulfill the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda. Among the 766 institutions evaluated in the world, the University ranked number 91, ahead of recognized Universities in the country, emerging as the best positioned in Paraná. In Brazil, UEL was in second place, only behind the USP (University of São Paulo).

Regulatory framework for the environment and human rights
The implementation of the SDGs requires the participation of all stakeholders. The State, as the main responsible agent for fulfilling the commitments of the 2030 Agenda, must promote this participation through normative, political, economic and social incentives that create multi-stakeholder enabling environments.
